Each time I restore the system back to the point just prior to their installation - when I power down, the system notifies me it is installing the offensive updates even though I changed the update settings to prohibit the installation of updates without notifying me first. I attempted to restore my system (windows 7 (64 bit) to a period prior to receiving those updates but they apparently had been downloaded and not yet installed just prior to the earliest restore point available to me. I received 7 Microsoft "critical updates" shortly thereafter and, after the installation of those updates, my surround mode became unstable. When I first configured the system, I was able to operate FSX in surround mode with no problem. I just installed 2 GTX 580's running in SLI mode powering 3 Acer G235H 23" monitors.

I am having trouble getting Nvidia's Surround to operate in a stable condition.
